The Spirit of Tradition. Our Honey Rakija, or Medica, is more than just a drink—it is a celebration of our family’s two greatest passions: traditional distilling and artisanal beekeeping. Crafted in small batches, this liqueur is the result of essence from the finest raw honey.
Our Medica is known for its incredible smoothness and a lingering warmth that tastes like a summer afternoon.
The Art of the Blend
Creating a high-quality Honey Rakija is a patient process. We begin with a base of double-distilled fruit rakija, which we then carefully infuse with a blend of our signature honeys (usually a mix of Acacia and Meadow).
The secret lies in the aging process. We never use artificial flavors or colors; the rich gold hue comes entirely from the hive.
Appearance: A clear, brilliant gold with a velvety viscosity.
The Taste: The initial sweetness of the honey rounds off the “bite” of the alcohol, leaving a gentle, warming glow in the chest.
How to Enjoy It
- As an Aperitif: Serve slightly chilled to open the appetite before a meal.
- As a Digestif: Sip it at room temperature at the end of a meal to savor the floral undertones.
- The Winter Warmer: It is a local favorite for chasing away the chill on cold winter evenings.
